Paid up members of a UK beekeepers association can shop at Booker’s Trade Only cash and carry stores. (This concession was initiated some years ago by members of Conwy Beekeepers for our own members, and then rolled out nationally, following lengthy discussions with Booker’s Head Office).
Granulated sugar in 25kg sacks is available, along with Bookers other commodities.
Here’s how to register as a customer…
Visit the Booker website https://www.booker.co.uk/home
Go to Register, select Shop and choose any item, say Farm/agriculture.
Complete the registration form. Business name Conwy Beekeepers (or as appropriate)
You will be sent a verification code by email. Enter the code and set your password.
Select your preferred store.
Make a note of your new customer number.
To complete your registration, visit the store within one week with your current BKA membership certificate / receipt. Ask your secretary to resend it via eR2, if you no longer have it; AND photo ID, passport or driving licence.
